Key Responsibilities:

  • Test games systematically to find defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Execute test cases, test plans, and regression testing based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking software (e.g.Trello, Asana).
  • Reproduce issues accurately and provide detailed reports with steps to replicate.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced after updates.
  • Test across multiple platforms / resolutions (PC, mobile, console, etc.) to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to improve quality.
  • Provide feedback on gameplay balance, user experience, and overall functionality.
  • Maintain organized documentation of test results and project status.
  • Participate in QA meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field (preferred, but not required).
  • Experience: 0 - 6 months of experience in QA testing, preferably in gaming.
  • Strong knowledge of game development cycles and bug-tracking processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely (both written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with different gaming platforms (PC, mobile, console).
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of game genres, mechanics, and player experience.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or testing tools is a plus.
