Our Procurement team is integral to driving AbbVie’s business strategy, serving as trusted partners with leading capabilities and a customer of choice for our suppliers.</p><p>Working closely with Director, Corporate Communications as a matrix manager, responsible for contributing to the development and execution of strategic internal and external communications as set out in the Procurement communications strategy. This role has accountability for the management and oversight of specific initiatives to drive a greater understanding and awareness of AbbVie’s business strategy, high-performing culture, and leadership with the purpose of engaging and empowering employees to embody our high-performing culture, which enhances our company\'s reputation as a great place to work. In addition, this role will provide project management support for Procurement-wide strategic initiatives in scope for Integrated Procurement Management office.</p><p>This Procurement role will play a strategic role in building a next-generation approach to Procurement as it transforms to become a trusted business partner and an enabler of key business strategy, along with customer of choice for suppliers. Now is the time to join a best-in-class Procurement organization shaping the future of value generation.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>•Key contributor to planning and executing best-in-class communications aligned to Corporate Affairs and Operations Communications that advance AbbVie’s reputation as an innovative, future-forward company that attracts and retains key talent.</p><p>•Support strategies and initiatives that engage both Procurement and enterprise employees through compelling communications outreach, programs and initiatives.</p><p>•Contribute to the development, execution and tracking of a multifaceted Procurement education and visibility plan with initiatives and programs that contribute to advancing Procurement strategic priorities. As part of the plan, partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders, utilizing effective vehicles to drive clearly defined messages across all channels of distribution, reaching and engaging employees and external stakeholders.</p><p>•Work collaboratively with Corporate Communications to identify and execute on high-impact internal and external communications opportunities that raise executive visibility for Procurement leaders and contribute to strategic goals.</p><p>•Support planning, logistics and execution of Procurement functional and executive town halls and luncheons both on a local and global level, including liaising with affiliates, Creative Network and other partners to ensure events are flawlessly executed and clearly convey strategic messaging.</p><p>•Recommend innovative approaches to delivering communications that effectively tell the AbbVie story and provide the overview, framework and “voice” for communications across all channels.</p><p>•Provide project management support for Procurement wide strategic initiatives including managing project timelines and budget.</p><p>#LI-AL1</p><br><div>Qualifications</div><br><p>•Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent</p><p>•6+ years of relevant experience and proven track record of success in managing internal employee or change management communications</p><p>•Experience in the healthcare/bio-pharma industry a plus</p><p>•Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of emerging communication trends and technologies; social media and executive writing experience a plus</p><p>•Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate company and team needs</p><p>•Experience working with senior management and executive presence</p><p>•Strong project management skills and ability to multitask</p><p>Key Stakeholders:</p><p>Corporate Communications, Procurement Leadership Team, Procurement Leadership Forum</p><br><div>Additional Information</div><br><p>Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state orlocal law:</p><ul><li><p>The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at the timeof this posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, andwemay ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range.
