<span>Job Overview Salon House is looking for a licensed, passionate, and talented Salon Director to join our brand-new Bushwick location! We’re a modern salon with a collaborative culture, strong brand vision, and a commitment to delivering exceptional style and service. This is a full-time position ideal for a stylist who is comfortable with both being behind the chair and managing a salon, thrives </span><span>in a fast-paced, professional environment, and is coachable as you will work with the CEO regularly. We offer a competitive tiered commission structure with an hourly base pay included. Duties • Building a team with an eye on recruitment, regular training and coaching of experienced cosmetologists • Ongoing coaching with the staff on client retention, education, consults, and online portfolios through Instagram • Managing inventory and purchasing of products • Maintaining excellent communication between stylists and our remote customer service team • Perform a wide range of cut and color services for all hair types and genders, including: Haircuts, Blowouts and Styling, Gray coverage, Color Corrections and gloss treatments • Conduct thorough client consultations. • Recommend retail products and care routines to clients • Deliver exceptional hospitality to ensure a welcoming environment for all clients. • Manage client appointments efficiently using our software. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools. • Ensure each guest has a personalized, positive experience Requirements • Active New York cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations. • Active professional liability insurance • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. • Passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on current trends and techniques. • Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple clients throughout the day.
