Barista / Cashier – Croton Harmon Train Station Kiosk

Location: Croton-On-Hudson, NY

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

About Us

Winfield Street Coffee is a fast-growing coffee shop brand known for great coffee, great food, and great people. Our Croton Harmon kiosk is unlike a typical café – it’s a high-energy, fast-paced environment serving commuters, locals, and visitors right inside the Croton Harmon Train Station.

The Role

While latte art is part of our training program (and you’ll definitely get to practice it), this location focuses more on drip coffee and iced flash brew due to the fast commuter pace. Customers are often running to catch a train and want their coffee fast, fast, fast.

You’ll be working in a small, tight space—often solo—and serving our loyal regulars during the week. Weekends and Monday nights bring a fun mix of baseball fans, NYC visitors, and travelers from across the state.

You’ll need to be:

  • Quick on your feet – morning rush moves at lightning speed.
  • Organized and self-motivated – most shifts you’ll be working alone.
  • Clean and detail-oriented – small space = everything in its place.
  • Customer-focused – greet our regulars like friends, and newcomers with a smile.

You’ll also support our Store Manager, Maggie, who is on-site Monday–Friday, and keep the kiosk running smoothly during your shifts.

Perks:

  • Competitive hourly pay + tips
  • Dedicated parking spot at the station
  • Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time available)
  • Fun, community-focused work environment with loyal regulars

Available Shifts We’re Looking to Fill:

  • Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 7:15 PM (Mon–Fri)
  • Saturday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Sunday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Requirements:

  • Previous food service or retail experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and handle high volume under pressure
  • Reliability – punctuality is a must
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
