Fox Corporation is seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Product Manager for Video Ad Tech, CTV to lead their initiatives across various applications. The role involves developing and executing product strategies, managing complex projects, and optimizing video ad tech products with a focus on Freewheel and Google Ad Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for video ad technology in the CTV domain, with a focus on leveraging video ad tech platforms like Prebid, SpringServe, IMA, Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc., to maximize ad performance and revenue.
  • Responsible for translating complex business initiatives into specific technical requirements/tasks for the engineering team
  • Work with Sales, Yield, and Revenue Operations to ensure product solutions meet business goals and technical constraints
  • Conducts code review and provides approval for production deployment
  • Responsible for troubleshooting on ad tech implementation. Lead efforts in debugging and tracing network calls to optimize ad delivery and performance.
  • Define best practices, priorities, processes and procedures for Ad Ops and Programmatic Teams
  • Define and track KPIs related to revenue, engagement and other metrics related to the product updates owned by the product manager
  • Organize recurring working groups and status meetings to track milestones, risks and tasks.
  • Manages a variety of projects that includes providing analysis and presenting project plans, scope, and risks
  • Ensures timely communication and education for internal and external stakeholders on tech requirements, development progress and project timelines. Creates and maintains reports for executives and stakeholders.

Skills

  • Experience in digital product management, with a focus on video ad technology on CTV platforms (Roku, Amazon FireTV, tvOS, Samsung, LG, etc.).
  • Must have experience working with Freewheel, GAM and IMA SDK
  • Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in using tools like Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy, Postman, with expertise in debugging and tracing network calls.
  • Experience using GitHub for managing codebases, and dev mgmt tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Prior experience in a role on a cross-functional team with successful product ownership demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven and rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across all levels within the organization and manage business projects effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits passion for new media distribution, digital monetization, and keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
  • Advanced knowledge of ad serving technology, including viewability, measurement, interactivity, and SSAI/CSAI/SGAI implementations. Deep familiarity with the programmatic landscape.
